Latin
Salsa and bachata basics — feel the music first, footwork second. No partner needed.
Beginner-friendly dance classes
No choreography exams, no judgement — the whole point is to get your body moving, even if you have two left feet. Latin, swing, jazz and pop/funk classes taught with expert care by Michelle Ward, a competitive ballroom dancer who believes everyone can dance.
Class styles
Four styles, one promise: you'll leave every class smiling. No drills, no exams, no pressure — just get your body moving, even if you have two left feet. Total beginners very welcome.
Salsa and bachata basics — feel the music first, footwork second. No partner needed.
Lindy hop and Charleston — bounce, laugh and swing-out your way around the room.
Lines, leaps and expression — technique taught through play, not pressure.
Grooves to today's hits — the most fun you'll ever call exercise.
Group events & workshops
Girls' nights and birthday celebrations, bachelorette parties, workplace wellness sessions and neighbourhood gatherings — Michelle brings the music, the moves and the icebreakers, so nobody stands by the snack table for long.
Every event is tailored to your crowd, from total beginners to shameless show-offs. You bring the people; we bring the party.
Wedding lessons
Your wedding first dance deserves better than an awkward shuffle. Michelle choreographs a routine to your song that suits you both — even if one of you has never danced a step — and rehearses it with you until it feels effortless on the big day.
Beyond the first dance, she can choreograph parent dances and wedding party routines too — and private lessons aren't only for weddings. One-to-one sessions are shaped entirely around you: your music, your pace, your goals. In person at a venue to suit you, or online from your living room.
Meet your teacher
I spent years competing in ballroom, and now I'm bringing that experience to Sway with Meesh. My goal is simple: help people feel comfortable dancing, build confidence, and have fun along the way.
You can expect clear instruction, patient guidance, and plenty of encouragement. No judgment or pressure to get every step right—just get moving, and we'll build from there. Two left feet welcome.
